Dr. Yusef Khadembashi’s practice is built around implant surgery, implant prosthetics, and aesthetic restorative dentistry. His days are spent replacing missing and failing teeth and rebuilding worn, broken, or compromised dentitions — from a single implant to full-arch and full-mouth reconstruction. He is a founder of ARCH Dental + Aesthetics.
Originally from Perth, Australia, Dr. Khadembashi graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2014 and practised there before relocating to British Columbia in 2019 with his wife, Dr. Lisa Otway, who is also a dentist. Since then, his continuing education has been directed almost exclusively toward the disciplines that underpin reconstructive care.
He completed the Master Clinician Program in Oral Implantology at the gIDE Institute in Los Angeles, graduating with Highest Honors, and has trained through the Kois Center Continuum in evidence-based diagnosis and treatment planning, the Dawson Prosthodontic Mini Residency in occlusion and comprehensive restorative dentistry, and Level 2 All-on-X training with ORCAA. These programs represent advanced postgraduate continuing education rather than specialty certification.
Because he performs both the surgery and the prosthetics himself, treatment stays under one set of hands from CBCT planning through to the final restoration — an approach he finds gives patients a more predictable path and fewer handoffs.
Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Khadembashi teaches and mentors other dentists through continuing education programs in Los Angeles and internationally, and hosts a study club for colleagues pursuing advanced implant and reconstructive training.
Outside the operatory, he and Dr. Otway are raising three children in Greater Vancouver. He is a keen golfer, tennis player, and fly fisherman — pursuits that share the appeal of his clinical work: precision, patience, and the satisfaction of doing something difficult well.
At ARCH Dental + Aesthetics, Dr. Khadembashi leads a team specializing in implant dentistry, veneers, full-mouth rehabilitation, and facial aesthetic treatments such as PRF-based facial rejuvenation, Botox®, and dermal fillers. The clinic also features an IV lounge for wellness and recovery, ensuring patients receive a holistic approach to both oral and overall health.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Khadembashi is a dedicated father of three children and an avid golfer, fly fisherman, and tennis player. His passion for precision and artistry extends to his hobbies, where he enjoys the technical challenges and creativity each sport demands.
